I also had an interview with a local alum. The interview was standard and asked about my resume and my interest in Harvard. Harvard is extremely competitive, and getting in seems quite random, as everyone knows, but it does tend to admit royalty (Prince of Jordan), movie stars (Natalie Portman), and former TV stars (Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Tatyana Ali), quite easily. Alum babies get in easily too, as do Grammy nominees and Olympic athletes :) Star treatment is given to athletes.
