Downtown hampton has a few things to kill time on the weekends or for a
quick getaway after classes. It is also within walking distance. With
transportation, it is within reach of VA Beach and Norfolk, which offers
nightlife activities, shopping and more interaction with the locals.
The Greeks are equally represented on the campus and recently smaller
greek organizations are being installed. Since my graduation, the
campus has had some renovations and improvements. Which include a
bowling alley, movie theater, brand name food vendors (I believe Subway
or Pizza Hut), and pool hall. All within the student center right on
campus. There is also a established place of worship on campus with
weekly Sunday services and Bible studies.
