I received several honorable mentions at large companies. Which I will admit
was surprising at times. It is commonplace that HBCU's are not recognized for
the wealth of education and moral values that they impart on their students, but
for the HR professionals out in the "Real World" that know about Hampton
University makes me proud that I chose them for my institution of higher
learning. The University has career placement center, through which I was able
to arrange 3 or 4 final interviews my senior year. As with a lot of
universities, from what I hear, financial companies, specifically, heavily
recruit from our campus. There are a variety of career fairs available to the
students.
