Social Life Survey
full time undergrad program Most of the social life comes from inside the dorms or social clubs. For example, usually the greek life students stick together which is normal since they do a lot of events together. Most students here are usually diverse when it comes to picking their friends. Many students often cook in their dorms or go to the on campus dining instead of going out to a restaurant. GA Tech also has a reputation for having a low dating rate. Most guys here are often very attached to their computers-- playing computer games or chatting online. Also, they rarely look up when they're walking. They're always walking with their heads down and hands in their pockets, only walking to class, their dorm or the dining hall alone. However, the girls here are known to have a syndrome called TBS (Tech Bitch Syndrome). It's derived from the girl to guy ratio at Tech. They believe they get a lot of attention from the guys because they are a girl in this kind of ratio environment. In addition, when in a group, it's usually one girl and 4 guys. Almost always. Many of the organizations on campus hold club parties, which draw a large crowd not only from Georgia Tech, but also other schools in the Atlanta community. It's a well diverse school, and if you're a girl, you should attend this school.
