Quality of Life Survey
Full-time undergraduate program (Bachelor of Computer Engineering) The dorm I lived in Freshman year (Smith) was a disaster, but they have since rennovated the bad dorms and constructed some newer better ones. I spent all 5 years in dorms and enjoyed them all. Crime was a little on the high side, but I found that being sensible was all it took to avoid the problems. Don't walk alone at night, especially if you're a girl, etc. You may still be unfortunate enough to have your car broken into, but I think that's true anywhere. Parking was a big problem when I was there, but fortunately, it's easy to get by without a car. There are busses around campus and Marta stations nearby to take you anywhere in the city. Only grocery shopping gets a little onerous without a car.
