| full time undergrad program |
Finding a career after graduation is not difficult at all. Georgia Tech has a
wonderful career center, and as long as a student uses it wisely, he or she
should be able to find a good, respectable, and useful job. Georgia Tech
provides a program for undergrad students called the co-op program where they are
allowed to intern for one semester and then take classes the next. This program
usually lasts 6 years, sometimes 5 if you're lucky. This allows the students to
get valuable work experience and a break from studying. Most of the programs
that Georgia Tech offers as far as internships go, land their students with a big
firm such as GE, Boston Consulting, Bank of America, Honda, etc. I find that to
be a very valuable corporate experience for any student.
