Admissions Process is usual to many of the good schools: many essays and
looking especially for why Georgetown over Brown, Northwestern, etc. In
your essays make sure you get across all the aspects of your life; don't
be vague but make sure you paint the whole picture of you are bc the
admissions staff takes the essays seriously. I had an interview at my
school in New Jersey with an alumni. The interview went well (basic
questions and why Gtown) and my interviewer took initiative in my case.
I was waitlisted so I wrote Gtwon additional letters advising of my
accomplishments during senior year to get myself off of the waitlist.
Also, I spoke to my interviewer and he would call to help my case. It
worked and they let me in.
The school is very selective like 7th hardest to get into in terms of
percentages. Gtown really, really appreciates community service. Do that
in high school for sure.
