Not that it was bad then. It was just limiting in my freshman year to be limited to the large inpersonal rowdy atmosphere of Thurston Hall or the single sexed Calhoun Hall. Now Calhoun is coed. The food through the meal plan was life sustaining at best and horrible at its worst. Hopefully the meal issues have improved since 1984. Crime and safety issues were good as the streets were well lit. Howevver, there is a homeless problem in DC and students need to be careful even on campus.
