GW used to be known as the "Georgetown Reject School"..you could always
go to GW if you couldn't get in to G-town. Not the case anymore.
Highly selective, highly competitive. Successful applicants have
something that set them a part - volunteering in highschool, academic
achievements, etc. Try a funny essay - that will always make you stand
out. GW has a program where you can spend the night on campus in the
student dorms, and then the next day go in for your in-person
interview. It's a good way to see what the campus is really like, and
helps to meet the admissions people inperson.
