The school has its own police force and campus is very safe. The
neighborhoods surrounding campus go from nice to not very nice. The
school is in a capital city, Tallahassee and is right in the heart of
downtown. Two blocks form the state capital and state supreme court.
Definitly enhances the education with such a close proximity to state
politics. School facilities are improving by the year and is a campus
which you should enjoy. Moss covered oak trees and rolly hills in a
downtown setting. A real southern large state university so very
similiar to Gainesville. If living in a dorm choose Southgate private
dorm on campus.
