Duke Career Center is great. They make an effort to get you involved as a first
year so that you can start making connections and network right away. They have
a great resume/cover letter support staff that critiques your resume 5 days a
week as well as support that works with mock interviews. I have been generally
impressed with the employers that come to campus, and in fact surprised on the
number that do. The internship opportunites seem endless, at least in the
finance fields, and I get the impression that employers do value Duke students
for their intellect and positive attitude.
