Denison is attempting to raise the caliber of the students they are
admitting. When I applied, I had an admissions interview, an essay,
SAT/ACT scores sent,-Jan 1 deadline, March? maybe acceptance-pretty
traditional stuff. As it is a small school,they look for people to stand
out-via extracurricular activities, strong academic motives, and
personality.And of course they look for people who will bring those
things to Denison, and be active on campus and in the community, and of
course bring publicity to the school via their academic and social
service/sports accomplishments. The best part of admissions is the huge
amount of financial aid Denison gives to students. Most students can get
generous need based- and merit based financial aid.
