Have you seen Animal House? That's it. Great times happen at Dartmouth.
You can find fun almost any night of the week. From a cappella groups
performing weekly, to parties, to dorm events, to fraternities and
sororities, there is a thriving social scene at Dartmouth. You don't
have to join a Greek organization to be part of that facet of the
social life -- everyone (except freshmen, who are encouraged to
socialize with their own class) attends parties. Beer pong is very
popular, but if you don't drink you can pledge a house "dry" and there
is little pressure to consume alcohol. There is dating, perhaps not as
much as people would want, but many people by senior year are in
relationships, and many more reunite with Dartmouth grads later on down
the road to pursue relationships. There are 2 main bars off-campus, but
they ID strictly, and are predominately senior year hangouts. It is an
extremely fun and social place to attend college.
