There are plenty of extra curricular opportunities at Dartmouth, from
theater and music to academic publishing to Christian fellowships. The
Greek system is very popular at Dartmouth, though the administration is
trying to diminish the role of the Greek system at Dartmouth. There is
a pub on campus, called the Lone Pine Tavern, which is quite popular.
Good food, and often live musical entertainment by students to accompany
your meal. As I mentioned above, there are lots of restaurants and
cafes around. Dartmouth offers a wide range of public events as well,
from Itzhak Perlman concerts to Town Meetings of U.S. Presidential
candidates. Overall, there is enough interesting stuff going on that
you will never have nothing to do unless you feel like doing nothing.
And sometimes doing nothing sounds pretty good. ;-) Overall, I give
Dartmouth the highest ratings in all aspects. It's a great school, and
if I could do it all over again, I'd go to Dartmouth.
