Hanover is one of the safest towns in America. There is very little
crime, if any. Most students live on campus in various kinds of dorms.
The dining halls, as much as students complain, is really quite good.
Anybody who has eaten at cafeterias at other schools quickly learn how
good Dartmouth's food is. Dartmouth is extremely rural. Main street and
"downtown" encompasses an area that probably is no bigger then five
square blocks. At least once a term, make sure you are taking a trip off
campus to keep your head straight. The campus is gorgeous, but cold.
Remember to bundle up.
