Dartmouth is an Ivy school, so as a result there is a lot of heavy recruiting
for I-Banking and consulting jobs. However, Dartmouth has a very wide alumni
network and Dartmouth alums are known for creating their own pathways. Whatever
career you feel is right for you, you can bet there is an alum doing it. Career
services is helpful in terms of getting your resume and cover letters together,
but I didn't get any real "career" supprt. They will help you find a job, but
not necessarily a career. Recently, more alums have been getting into the
non-profit sector, something that they really excel at. Of course a Dartmouth
degree has a certain cache for getting your resume in the door for most regular
positions. Dartmouth does have great internship resources, including grants for
those who want to do an internship where they would not get paid.
