Dartmouth's career office teems with support and activity. The advisors work
hard to find and schedule opporunities for students. The career services office
moved to a larger location just last year because it could no longer accomodate
the flow. Situated on top of a bank on Main Street the career service office is a
friendly, welcoming location that makes life easier when searching for a job.
The Dartmouth name carries a lot of weight for employers and most big name banks
recruit here. While the name carries more prestige in the NorthEast it is looked
upon in general as a pedigree by employers. Banking and consulting are huge at
Dartmouth but make sure you go for an economics, math, or engineering major if
that's what you want to do.
