B.S. Communications Cornell's career center is unparalleled. The individual colleges have their own career centers as well and I'm owe my first job to career center's method of interviewing. There was a resume submission as well as an individual sign-up where you could interview regardless of your resume credentials. I wasn't a business or science major so I had difficulty being selected on paper for interviews. I signed up for 2 interviews - at Accenture (Andersen back then) and another consultancy and got to the last round for both. In the end, Andersen didn't give me an offer and the other firm did so I took that one and knew I had a job in December of my senior year! If they hadn't used the interview sign-up, I certainly wouldn't be where I am today - at a world-class consulting firm with a very good salary.
