Admission & Application Survey
Full-time undergraduate program Cornell is a selective school to gain admission to and the application can be viewed as a bit tedious since it requires several essays that may/or may not be applicable to other universities' application forms. Cornell will generally require one to submit SAT scores along with 3 SAT II exam scores; one of which must be the writing SAT II. The interviews are extremely informal and are really looking to find out a little bit more about yourself and also if you are a good fit for the specific college you applied to. (note: Cornell is divided into 7 different colleges, each focusing on different disciplines. Admissions is very good at determining whether or not you really belong in the college you apply to or are just applying to that specific school as an easy way to gain admission, as some colleges are easier to get into than others). Half of Cornell's undergraduate colleges are state colleges, so students that are New York residents will have tuition if they are enrolled in one of the state colleges.
