Admission & Application Survey |
| Bachelors |
Cornell prides itself on being the most diverse of the Ivy Leagues which
means it is willing to overlook academic inadequacies if you are
bringing something unique to the campus environment. My advice on
getting in is to prove to the admissions board that you are passionate
about something. Don't get involved in a bunch of clubs, but commit
yourself to a cause. I will start interviewing potential applicants
this fall and that is what I will be looking for. Cornell is one of the
top schools in the country, so there are a few majors within the
University where your academic background, GPA, SATs, etc are extremely
important. Examples of these majors are Engineering, Hotel
Administration, Physics. Cornell also had quite a few students who
weren't the brightest kids I know, and strangely they were all business
majors.
