Lots of campus clubs and associations for all types. However, for
clubs and bars expect to find the best watering holes off campus. Not
to worry though, clubs and bars are all centered around downtown (St-
Laurent Blvd, Cresent Street, numerous others) and since age of
majority is 18, first years can mingle with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year
students.
In Montreal, and Canada in general, the greek system is far less
popular than in the US. It might be a better idea to join a sports
team or student association for those looking to get involved.
