Colorado College admissions process is comprehensive. The selection
process involves reviewing academic prepardness, recommendations, test
scores and civic involvovment outside of the class room. Because of the
unique nature of Colorado College's Block Plan where classes are taught
in blocks of 3 1/2 weeks, admissions counselors look for students who
will not only succeed, academically, but contribute to the college
community. There is a strong emphasis on writing at Colorado College. I
strongly encourage prospective students to take the most rigorous
writing courses available before applying. The selection process is
compatative.
