I visited the campus at least three times, getting a tour each time so I
could get a different take on what others thought of it. I had an
interview with an admissions counselor. They wanted to know about me.
They wanted to know about all of my extracurricular activities and work
experience as well as my grades and my take on education. It was a
pretty relaxed interview. The essay they gave you several choices or you
could write on a topic of your own. I wrote mine on someone that had a
significant impact in your life. I wrote about one of my high school
teachers who went up and beyond what was necessary of her as a teacher.
Wooster is pretty selective about the students they let in when looking
at grades, but if your parents have the cash then it seems that they can
overlook the grades somewhat. There were some students there that
probably shouldn't have been there but their parents gave some extra
contribution.
