As residential campus, most social activities are focused around
campus. There is no Greek system at CMC (or on any of the five campuses)
but social life tends to center around the North Quad dorms and the
student apartments at CMC. The surrounding area is a little sparse in
terms of bars or nightlife (although there is some), but it's a short
drive to Pasadena or LA (but LA standards) for the more adventerous.
Being a member of the consortium of Claremont schools, there are tons of
resources in terms of parties and clubs, so that students typically get
involved in many activities outside of class and enjoy the social
atmosphere at CMC.
