I lived in an on-campus apartment. I've heard complaints about the
quality of food and limited selection, but not experienced it myself.
The apartments are clean and reasonably priced; most on-
campus "neighborhoods" are quiet and clean, and violent crime is nearly
non existent (with the exception of occasional domestic disputes).
They have a large Student Activity Center which is well equipped for
aerobics, swimming, basketball, racquetball, etc. And few students
would question their safety walking home from this place at night.
I should mention that the campus is very spread out, a walk home from
the Student Activity Center to the north most freshman dorms would be
over a mile and a half! And some of the on-campus apartments are even
farther away!
