Campus recruiting has considerable improved over the years. However for the
prestigious i banks offering jobs in banking and trading they are looking for
engineer and CS majors for their quant jock positions leaving finance majors high
and dry. This leaves many business majors bitter and very disappointed. However
it is not impossible for a finance major to snag a position at a prestigious bank
it just needs a little more effort. I still know a couple people who graduated
last year who are still jobless and living at home.
