I studied psychology to enter the business communications field in which I have
enjoyed a tremendous career ever since graduation. Due to lack of experience, it
wasn??t an easy start - being ??at the right place, at the right time?? helped me,
but I also felt well prepared and confident to take on a challenging role as a
result of my studies. This confidence came from what I had learned and
approached the market place on my own, without recruiters and career placement
services. What??s more, the position had not existed but came about through
discussions about what I felt I could offer the organization (that??s how
researching your potential employer can pay off).
