I haven't noticed many events or any real campus mixers where you can go
to meet people but I also have a lot of classes and studying and I work
so I don't have a lot of time to really look for things like that. If
they have them, they aren't well-publicized. I'm not involved in the
Greek system because it has always seemed ridiculous to me. The events
in the dorms are better publicized - a note on the doors and walls goes
a long way - and have been fun but I haven't made any real friends that
way. I think I'm just too much of a loner for anything less than forced
socialization to have any impact.
