Quality of Life Survey
full-time undergraduate Housing is more than adequate. The rooms are much larger than expected. The RAs however are less than helpful. They don't seem to take their job very seriously and give the impression that they won a contest and get free housing for doing absolutely nothing. Ask them for help and they'll promptly send you somewhere else. But that's just my experience. Dining is a joke. When I told a friend of mine off-campus that I'm subsisting primarily on rice and steamed vegetables, she joked that it's the POW diet. I've lost a lot of weight in the three weeks since the semester started because there is a shortage of decent (read identifiable) food. The neighborhood seems relatively safe despite the thefts and incidents of vandalism that are certain to occur on every campus. The violent crime seems to be at a minimum right now but in this age, that could change tomorrow.
