Fresno State offers some of the best college sporting venues anywhere
with the new 17,000 capacity SaveMart Center the home of the basketball
time and 70,000 capacity Sweeney Football stadium. There is AAA baseball
for the Giants in a new downtown baseball stadium and AAA hockey also in
the SaveMart Center. The Associate Student Union on campus provide
various activities on campus, many free of charge. There are several
themed activities throughout the semester that celebrate diversity,
culture and local heritage.
