When I attended, there was a strong assumption by the administration that
students were adults, and we were given a lot of freedom and opportunity.
I think there's more red tape today, but I think there's still more
flexibility than at larger schools.
Living on campus means you're in the middle of a small, fairly closed
community, which has advantages and disadvantages. You'll know most of
your classmates, which is good, but some people just want to get away
sometimes and be anonymous, which is hard.
