I got two internships through the main internship office in Queens College.
They were very helpful, gave interesting workshops and helped me write a great
resume. There are job fairs at QC, although I did not attend them.
Although I was unsure about how I would fare as a QC grad in the job market, I
did get a job right away. With most liberal arts majors, QC is viewed as a
respectable college and it isn't problematic to get a job.
However, my internship experience was definitely the biggest help in getting a
job, and I would recommend getting an internship before graduating.
