Baruch has a bunch of clubs and fraternities. To be honest, I was never
really the type to join one club. I am more the type to hop around, meet
everyone and be invited everywhere. There are all types of ethinicities,
cultures, religions, and so on at Baruch. It is truly a global
institution. Just about every country is represented at Baruch College.
There is always something happening at Baruch or related to Baruch.
There are also other colleges nearby as well. Pace U. and NYU are the
closest. The Village is nearby if you are into that type of thing. There
are many places to visit a short cab, bus, or train ride away - clubs,
restaurants, bars, and so on. Being that the NYC public transportation
is probably the fastest (never the neatest or most reliable) in the
world, other areas are just as accessible.
