Quality of Life Survey
Full-time Undergraduate program No housing, this is a commuter school for the most part. Housing can be arranged by another organization located a block from the school. Safety is good-- all students and professors are issued ID cards. With the exception of one building these cards must be swiped to access the buildings. If you don't have your ID card, you will be stopped at the door by security and you must show them a valid photo id or registration slip to gain access. The facilities are excellent-- the library and computing center have meeting rooms and an extensive amount of online databases for research. From mid-terms through finals, the library is open till midnight. The new vertical campus (14 floors) is nice and has eliminated the non airconditioned rooms in the summer. The school is located in the Gramercy Park section of the city so there are plenty of retaurants and groceries around as well as a limited service cafeteria on the premises.
