Bryn MAwr's post-bac program is highly competitive. it is well known
that applicatns who coudl have gotten into medical school by taking the
pre-med requirements at their community college are what BMC is looking
for. They take sure shots! If you have a parent that is a doctor,
that's a help. Also, the program hand picks graduates of top liberal
arts colleges and Ivey Leagues almost exclusively! The process requires
letters of recommendation, an essay, SAT scores (better hope you have a
600+ in math) and an on-campus interview. The interview is not very
stressful. A prospective student will meet with the program director
and a science professor. Then, a tour will be given. The admissions
is rolling. So, get your application in early. If you are not a
medical dynasty, do not have a perfect 4.0 with boatloads of community
servie in the medical field, or are not a natural born test-taker, best
to plan on corsorting (and make this clear that you intent to do so
durting the interview). Read on for details...
