Boston University borders on the community of Allston--the student
ghetto--known for its myriad of bars and eating establishments. The
social scene is amazing. If you want shopping, hit Newbury street about
a 20 minute walk away or a handful of T (trolley/subway) stops away.
Clubs are walking distance from campus--even ON campus since the campus
stretches for a mile. Fenway Park is walking distance--baseball games
galore. Cambridge with its own bar scene is a subway ride away. There
are churches and civic groups to choose from and there is a chapel and
synagogue on campus. There are students crawling everywhere--it's the
coolest place to be a student. The Greek system is practically non-
existent at BU. No one cares. There is WAY too much happening in the
city itself. www.Boston.com
