BU's housing isn't great, primarily because they don't have enough for
every student who wants to stay on campus. In addition, they're not
always up to code when it comes to fire hazards and such. But there
were way too many people who were housed in the Howard Johnson Motels in
Kenmore Square and Cambridge.
The campus was great. It's in the middle of the city, and easily
accessible to everyone. And I think it's as safe as it can be
considering its location. The school offers a shuttle service until a
certain hour for students traveling around the campus, and there are
blue phones everywhere in the event of an emergency. As with anywhere
else, it's always the students' responsibility to remain alert and aware
of their surroundings. As long as they do that, they should be fine.
