My years at Beloit College were the best of my life. There was always
something going on on campus, whether it was a movie in Wilson Theatre
or a band at the C-Haus or a singer brought by the Cafe Series. There
was never a weekend where my friends and I did not have numerous
entertainment options above and beyond the various Greek House parties.
On campus was extremely safe no matter the time, and I never had an
issue off-campus either but would recommend not wandering around by
oneself late at night.
The oncampus housing was fine, and there were always renovations being
done to the residence halls and the other buildings. Commons, i.e. the
cafeteria, and DK's were the food service facilities on campus and both
were adequate but nothing special. However, there were a number of
dining options both within walking distance and in the surrounding areas.
