The atmosphere at Baker College was always excellent, and we were treated with a
great deal of respect as students on this
campus. Since we were a group of adult students living in our own homes, we
did not need the services provided by the
housing office. Our classes met in the evenings, so most of the time we had an
opportunity to eat at home first and then
come to class, and as a result, most of us did not take advantage of the dining
facilities either.
The area where the college is located is a relatively safe area, and campus has
excellent security, so we all felt very safe.
This was especially important since our classes did not begin until 6:00 p.m.
and we didn't leave the campus usually until
after 10:00 p.m.
