Admission & Application Survey
Full Time Undergraduate Program Really all that Auburn looked at for me was my SAT score and my high school GPA. There were no essays that had to be written or anything like that. For Alabama residents they go with ACT scores but I was a resident of Georgia so I did not take the ACT, nor did they require it when I applied. I had a 1010 SAT and about a 3.3 high school GPA and I had no trouble getting in. However every year that I was there there were record freshman classes so I expect the requirements have gotten more stringent. There is no interview to get in. I started out as a marketing major and ended up as a finance major so I was always in the college of business. The point of me saying this is that now you have to APPLY to the college of business to transfer into it as an Auburn Student. This means that if you initially go to Auburn as undeclaired and/ or as another major you have to apply to get into the college of business. The meaning of all this is that if you are going to enter Auburn as an undeclaired major but are THINKING about business you should just go into the college of business to avoid having to apply and possibly not get in due to it being full. Your first two years can easily be generic classes so that this decision to start as in the college of business is NOT going to hinder you tranfering into another college later. Basically it is better to start out in the college of business and leave than to start out as somehing else and get in.
