Housing not a problem. If living on campus, availability might be a
problem in the Fall semester. Numerous appartment complexes around
campus (bike/walk distance) that are affordable and safe. Neighborhoods
are generally very safe, especially south and east of campus. Tempe and
ASU police patrolling frequently the whole area.
Dining good, many and varied restaurants close, both take-out and dine-
in. Scottsdale (15 min by car north) offers more exclusive dining and
nightlife. Quality of life must be said to be great. Summers can be hot,
but September/October to May provides great weather for most activities.
Great golfing and outdoor hiking/camping opportunities.
