I applied early decision. This is the best way to apply for your top
choice. The essay was pretty simple. You can choose from 5 different
topics, all of which are pretty general. Examples include "what make a
hero", "All i need to know I learned in Kindergarten" " What event has
made the most significant impact on my life" etc. Also needed is a short
bio on yourself. I never had an interview, but spoke with someone over
the phone about why i wanted to go to AU, and what questions i had about
the school. AU is not nearly as selective as say Georgetown, and if you
are a pretty decent student, you'll get in.
