Job Responsibilities
Mostly payables. The majority of my time is spent entering
invoices, dealing with vendors, and distributing checks. The
rest of my time is spent doing a little bit of AR related to
factoring, some data entry, and various projects.

Fashion is kind of glamorous. Famous people walking around, people send us
samples of clothes and makeup and chocolate, all employees go to the fashion
shows and after parties.

Downers
Work hours=50-60 per week, and most of the people make less money
than they could in another industry.

Lifestyle
Work hours=50-60 per week. No travel unless you do Sales. Dress Code=wear
whatever you want, but most people wear the latest fad. Kind of stressed out
environment, with a lot of the busy work being done by unpaid interns.

Compensation
$35,000 per annum, 18 days paid time off which is accrued at 1.5
days per month(includes vacation and sick days), plus holidays,
free individual health insurance.

Advice to Jobseekers
It's a right place at the right time sort of thing. Resumes come
in all the time, but positions are rarely available, despite our
high turnover. We've hired a few of our unpaid interns in the
past, but I wouldn't count on getting in that way. Respond to
job postings when they arise and know someone at the company you
want to work for.
