Job Responsibilities
I take care of customer sales that they put on layaway. i box the layaway and i put it in the bins. and i audit my bins eveyweek and in the holiday season i audit all my bins twice aweek. when i do my bin audit's it take me a whole day to do it. because there are so many layaways in our walmart even it is a small walmart.
Job Requirements
all you really need is a high school diploma and you can get into walmart. really anyone can work there and work your way up if you kiss b.. enough. Or show half your a.. like one of our assistant managers do.
Uppers
One of the few good things about walmart is the paycheck yea they do not pay competive wages but i still like getting a check every two weeks. and the friends you make at walmart. you really do get close.but the good thing about my position is you are busy all year long you dont stand there with nothing to do.
Downers
the fact if you dont kiss but you wont get nowhere. but the worst thing about my job is when you get customers that are jerk and cuss you out. start yelling at you and some get physical depending on how mad they can get.
Lifestyle
do not work at walmart. it is the worse place to work for and you never have a life. if you have a family walmart is not a family oriented job if you miss work believe me they get very upset. even if it is for you kid.
Compensation
walmart does not pay crap. so it is less than competitive wages and if you are lucky you may get a raise one a year """yeah""" right! and do not even think walmart gives bonuses because they do not.
Advice to Jobseekers
do not work at walmart. it is the worse place to work for and you never have a life. if you have a family walmart is not a family oriented job if you miss work believe me they get very upset. even if it is for you kid.
