Job Responsibilities
As researcher under contract, I make research for a pre-defined
project that has been granted, but I also have the possibility of
answering scientific collaborations not related with the project.
About fifty percent of my time is devoted to external collaborations.

Job Requirements
I got my licence in chemical sciences after 4 years at the
University, with a great distinction grade (around 16/20)
I got my PhD six years later, with the greatest distinction grade
(18/20).

Basic research is thrilling and exciting because you do not know what results
you will have at the end.

Making reports and projects, though necessary, are becoming a
burden when asked to often.

Lifestyle
The possibility of arranging your 38-40 hours a week at your convenience, with
of course a minimum during the usual daywork time.
I travel only when I go to congresses and conferences. We do not have any dress
code.

Compensation
The base salary is defined by the governement rules and depend on
the title of the researcher (beginning post-doc or experienced
one). There is one bonus called the thirteenth month, which is
given partly in June for the holidays period, and partly in
December for Christmas period.

Advice to Jobseekers
This is a very good job for young scientists wanted to get a
little more experience in a university lab.
