Job Requirements
High School Diploma is required, Bachelors Degree in Business preferred. A at-work training pipeline is required for my position. I have actually completed 3 work pipelines which averaged 3 weeks per pipeline. If testing at the end of each pipeline is failed you are considered fired.
Uppers
The people I work with make my job fun also I enjoy working with the customers.
Downers
Management is not consistant in grading and evaluating preformance also be prepared that you may not qualify for different positions due to favortism
Lifestyle
Dress code is business casual, also working in this position requires manditory overtime and time off is really hard to get. Also is very demanding since you are on phone all of the day and hardly any time in between calls. Weekends are manditory at least once or twice a month and they are not flexible with school or family schedules. This company does company social events but you normally have to pay for them and they are scheduled over weekends so if you are working you cannot attend also company pushes volunteering so be prepared for this as well as donations to charities are not mandatory but are frowned upon if you do not participate.
Compensation
Compensation depends on when you get hired. I had started off at $28,000.00 and am currently at $34,000.00 however, new employees are currently starting at my current base salary. This company does issue bonuses once a year that can add up to about 10%-16% of salary depending on how good the company is doing but is not guaranteed. The company covers majority of insurance however you may be required to pay additional (I pay additional $60-$80 mo for health, dental and eye) But recent changes to insurance does not cover enough of medical bills where you will be responsible for about half.
Advice to Jobseekers
This would be a great career for someone interested in management or someone who likes speaking on the telephone, most positions require customer contact. This is a position that will always require someone to do so job security is high.
