Conducting inspections 1-30 per year.
Reviewing inspections conducted by others 20-60 per year
Initiating enforcement actions 50 per year
Negotiating settlements 20-30 per year
Advising on-scene coordinators and inspectors - 1-3 hours per
week
Providing technical assistance to industry and public 10-20
hours per week
Conducting regulatory workshops 10-20 per year

Job Requirements
Environmental, science or engineering degree and/or classes a
plus for hiring.
Advanced degree beneficial.

Compensation
Base salary varies from entry level at $27,473 or $34,030
upwards to $129,715 at supervisory level.
