Job Requirements
BS in Business/Management/Finance coupled with and MBA prepares
one well for this position. Extensive experience owning/operating
high volume retail business and background in training and or
education is also benefitial.

Constant motion is a great way to describe job. One must be very flexible and
open to listening to others brainstorm about what they want. Many times co-worker
or manager only has the big picture in their mind and you need to help "define"
the path to the desired end reslut.

Constant motion or propensity to last minute change. Micro-
managers make this job a nightmare.

Travle depends on the comapany size and breadth. Ranges anywhere from 75% to
10%. Typically is a 10 hour 5 day a week job. Additional functions/events can
make for long exhaustive work weeks.

Base $ 70,000.
Bonus potential 10%.

Advice to Jobseekers
Ooutlook is good, however in a tight economy Training/Development
is a sacrificial lamb or gets hit with severe budget cuts. Must
have a flexible personality and ability to work office politics
well. Blunt does not work well with this department!!
