Job Requirements
The core curriculum was well planned to give students a solid
grounding in issues and topics covered by the bar exam. Beyond
core classes covered on the bar, there were numerous
opportunities to pick up classes that were of interest. Among
others, elective classes were taken in health law, environmental
law, administrative law, insurance law, and labor law. I have
drawn upon what I have learned in these classes working at the
firm. I do not recall being closed out of popular classes. The
evening program had opportunities to take most elective classes.
There were always a number of excellent classes with top-rated
professors available. The workload was relatively heavy if one
wanted to compete with the top students. I would not have felt
comfortable walking into any class unprepared.
