Job Responsibilities
I was directly in charge in the curriculum planning, supervising, and makiing sure things were going as set plans. I also conselled students with most easpects of life namely; academic advising, personal issues, and finance. I had spent more than seventy hours a week working sometimes seven days a week, especially when there were more special projects from other organizations.
Job Requirements
I would say that holding formal degrees are one of the most impoetant aspects that people have to think about. Once people apply for a job, the selection committees will first look at the degrees, career path or experience of working or study. How ones developed throught their lives. For me when I look for the staff in my department I always look at good people. In this sense, I mean I did more than just look at the degrees. I looked at more how ones went throught their life and how they develop and built up their own life paths. I always considered how one developed and build up his own ways of living more than the degrees and I myself found that was mostly real. While many have multi- millions, ohter had to work and study.
Uppers
I think the best part of my jobs were helping student learn and contribute the society by build good citizens.
Downers
Long hours and I had never had vacation during my five years working.
Lifestyle
Be honest to yourself of whatever your ability and skills. Being initiative is advantage. Do not be afraid of what challenges you, but learn about it and introduce it to your institutions and colleagues. Knowing your boss and accpet who he is is the effective worker, but being an efficient worker need a lot of fightings. yet, people have to think about what they are fighting for is beneficial for the whole institutions.
Compensation
Benefit is very important, yet for me the working environment and recognition are more important for me.
Advice to Jobseekers
Any jobs have their requirements so be dynamic in learning new techniques is benificial for your career progession.
